Motorcycle crashes on highway ramp, killing driver

 
The Arlington Police Department is investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash that occurred early this morning when a motorcycle hit a guardrail. The 43-year-old man died at the scene of the crash. On Saturday, July 27, 2013, at about 2:15 a.m., Arlington Police Officers were dispatched to a crash in the southbound lanes of State Highway 360 ramp at the westbound Interstate 20 ramp. Early into the investigation, it appears that the motorcycle hit a guardrail on the ramp and was thrown off the motorcycle. Several witnesses and first responders searched for the driver and he was found in the grassy area next to the highway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The motorcycle driver, whose name will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office once next of kin have been notified, was not wearing a helmet.
